Contacted by one of its close local partner in Mauritius, Immersub dive team was asked to help a regional fishing vessel recovering its anchor, which had to be abandoned due to winch mechanical failure. Fortunately, the Master recorded every GPS coordinates and movement of the vessel, weather conditions when the incident happened. After a quick chat with Master of the fishing vessel and after some crucial information was gathered for the dive plan, the dive team went on the search for the anchor.
In less than 6 hours, the anchor was found and retrieved. It was then dropped back to its happy owners, whom were extremely satisfied of the rapidity of action of Immersub dive team. Hats off to the team!
